I am Hidetaka Manabe (真鍋秀隆), a research fellow at SUTD.

My research lies at the intersection of tensor networks and quantum computation. I am especially interested in using tensor-network methods to simulate quantum systems and quantum error correction efficiently — for example, modeling realistic noise such as leakage errors in quantum error-correcting codes, and accelerating large-scale quantum circuit simulation on GPUs.

I have graduated from the University of Osaka in March, 2026. Before Osaka, I completed my M.Sc. at the Graduate School of Informatics, Kyoto University, working on tensor networks in the Nonlinear Physics group.
